Other resources for changing IP address
Plenty of sites on the Internet discuss the same topics
that we do. However, most of them only deal with one aspect of what we
cover. In general, there are only two ways to change your IP address:
by routing your web traffic through a relay (such as a proxy) or by getting
your ISP to issue you a new ip address (as we did both manually and with
free software). Every other online resource for changing your ip address
is going to involve one of those two methods in some manner.
If you're looking for something beyond what we've provided, you may
want to consider a paid service or software. One that we often recommend
is iPrivacyTools.com -- which is basically a relay service, but is fully
compatible with SSL. While based in the United States, they have IP's
available around the world. A variety of other services are also available, and
can be found with a simple google search. If you're aware of any that we should
recommend here (e.g. you've tried and had a good experience with them), please let
us know via the form above.
